Michael Foster steps down tonight as President of Hastings and District Law Society after an eventful and enjoyable year. “Its been great to make contact with so many local colleagues at our social events,” says Michael. “But these are challenging times for the legal profession. Devastating cuts to legal aid and the introduction of fees in employment work have reduced access to justice. Its important that we support the campaigning work of the national Law Society.”
